LOTTERIA to hold Hangul-themed exhibitions at 3 branches including Hongdae and Jamsil to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hangul Day
LOTTERIA is operating exhibition spaces with a Hangul theme to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hangul Day. This event will be held at a total of 3 branches, including the Hongdae Branch, Jamsil Lotte World Mall B1 Branch, and Seoul Station Branch, until October 11.
A combination of the self-developed 'Ria Typeface' and pure Korean taste expressions
The core of this exhibition is a spatial production that combines the expressiveness of Hangul with LOTTERIA's brand image. In the relevant stores, graphic decorations combining the 'Ria Typeface', a typeface self-developed by LOTTERIA, and brand characters have been installed, and an exhibition space using commemorative sculptures has also been prepared.
In particular, visitors can check eight types of taste and texture expressions organized by LOTTERIA on-site. Expressions including pure Korean words such as 'Dalbodre' and 'Algeundageun', which LOTTERIA has independently composed, are exhibited in the form of posters to convey the aesthetic beauty of Hangul to visitors.
Concurrent verification events and gift giveaways for visitors
Participatory programs for visitors seeking the exhibition space are also being operated. An online photo verification event is being held for store visitors, and an event providing gifts to customers who purchase designated menus is being held simultaneously.
LOTTERIA has continuously conducted marketing using its brand typeface. Following the unveiling of 'Chwapddak Typeface' in 2023, it has been strengthening its brand identity by distributing 'Ria Typeface' for free in 2024.
A LOTTE GRS official explained, "In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hangul Day, we hope that through this 'Hangul Feast', which interprets the beauty and expressiveness of Hangul with LOTTERIA's unique sensibility, customers will feel the meaning of Hangul more closely and enjoyably."
