From Peachtree to St-Germain: Recommended Combinations for Liqueurs Available at Marts and via Apps

In a video from the YouTube channel 'Introduction to Liquor', various types of liqueurs that can be easily obtained through marts, convenience stores, and liquor purchasing apps were introduced, along with drink combinations using them. In the video, the cast members personally tasted several liqueurs and explained the taste of each product and recommended mixed drinks.

Fruit-scented liqueurs and recommended combinations

Among the fruit liqueurs, which accounted for the largest portion, Peachtree, a peach liqueur, was guided to pair well with orange juice, and if carbonation is desired, it can be combined with tonic water. Aperol, which contains orange scent, is characterized by a bitter taste using bitter orange peel, and can be enjoyed in the form of an 'Aperol Spritz' by mixing sparkling wine and sparkling water. Liqueurs using nuts, coffee, and flowers

In the nut category, Disaronno was mentioned. It was explained that when mixed with whisky, it becomes 'Father', and when mixed with cola, it produces a taste similar to 'Dr Pepper'. Brownjelico, a hazelnut liqueur, can be mixed with coffee or milk, and Nocello, a walnut liqueur, can be used for pouring over warm coffee or vanilla ice cream. Dijon Cassis, a chestnut liqueur, can be mixed with warm milk to make a chestnut latte or combined with bourbon whisky.

Kahlúa, a coffee liqueur, can be mixed with milk or coffee, and it was reported to taste like coffee cola when mixed with cola. Mozart, a chocolate liqueur, was suggested as a combination to be mixed with milk or coffee. Among liqueurs using flowers, St-Germain has a flavor similar to green grapes, and ways of drinking it mixed with sparkling wine, cider, or tonic water were introduced. Fernet-Branca Menta, with its mint scent, was mentioned as being drunk as a shot or mixed into cola.
