Hyundai Green Food announced on the 29th that it will officially publish 'Eating to Age Slowly', a book compiling its healthcare research data and customized recipes, on the 1st of next month.

Distinction between eating habits and metabolic regulation principles and daily cooking methods

This collection, authored with the participation of about 30 of the company's research personnel, is largely divided into the 'Theoretical section', which deals with eating habits and metabolic regulation principles, and the 'Recipe section', which gathers daily cooking methods.

The theoretical part covers biological mechanisms related to delaying physical aging, such as changing heating methods to reduce advanced glycation end products. In the recipe part, 103 recipes were selected from approximately 2,000 recipes devised by the dedicated care food brand and adjusted to meet home cooking standards for inclusion.

Presenting practical standards based on professional research data amidst the slow-aging trend

Kim Gu-young, team leader of the Hyundai Green Food Healthcare Lab, stated, "We aimed to present correct practical standards based on professional research data amidst the slow-aging trend," adding, "It is a guidebook that includes the scientific reasons for cooking processes and methods for selecting ingredients."

Park Hong-jin, CEO of Hyundai Green Food, stated, "Focusing on the impact of food on aging, we have organized healthy eating methods," and "We plan to continue presenting practical content based on our care food research know-how." The book is available at Kyobo Book Centre physical stores nationwide and major online bookstores.
