A video containing the exterior changes of the Tesla Model 3 and prospects for Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology has been uploaded to the YouTube channel Kim Han-yong's MOCAR. The video shows the vehicle equipped with gold color PPF selected through a subscriber vote, along with the presenter's opinions on the social changes that autonomous driving technology will bring.

Gold color PPF and light tinting selected by subscriber vote

The presenter stated that the existing Tesla Model 3's windshield tint density was low at 30%, making it difficult to secure visibility during night driving. To solve this, it was replaced with light tinting, and the video compares the difference between the existing dark film and the light film. According to the explanation in the video, although the replaced film has a brightness of 70%, it possesses specifications with an infrared rejection rate of over 90%.

The vehicle's exterior was treated with gold color PPF according to the results of the subscriber vote. The presenter in the video mentioned that the color gives a feeling of Tesla's 'Cybercab'. Unlike existing transparent or matte PPF, a colored PPF with hue was applied, showing the vehicle, which was previously the Stealth Grey color, transformed into a new color. The presenter explained that this color matches the vehicle design well and is a technology that compensates for the disadvantages of wrapping.

The inevitability of autonomous driving technology compared to a washing machine

Based on the experience of riding in Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving), the presenter expressed opinions on the direction of development for autonomous driving technology. He compared autonomous driving technology to the emergence of the 'washing machine' in the past. Citing instances where people criticized and preferred manual washing when washing machines first appeared, he explained that as technology advances, a trend occurs where existing methods (manual driving) are forgotten.

Regarding negative public opinion on autonomous driving, the presenter showed the view that the flow of technological development cannot be stopped. He predicted that beyond the controversy of efficiency at a certain point in time, an era will eventually come where more than half of the roads are filled with autonomous driving. Furthermore, he mentioned that there is no justification for legally blocking autonomous driving, and automobile manufacturers also have no choice but to move toward autonomous driving for survival.

'Mocacab' project and communication plans regarding autonomous driving

The presenter revealed that he is planning content named 'Mocacab' using the vehicle that has transformed into gold. This is a form of content where, rather than an actual commercial taxi, he picks up subscribers and moves around while having conversations. According to the video description and the presenter's remarks, he plans to operate the vehicle for subscribers who applied through an entry link and have time to share opinions on autonomous driving and various stories.

Through this project, he shared plans to examine how autonomous driving can improve people's lives and the necessary discussions regarding South Korea's autonomous driving system.
