HUTA, a member of the group BTOB, revealed his past achievements at the 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' and various episodes he experienced before his debut.

Athletic Talent Holding 30 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' Medals and Stress

Appearing on Cao Lu's YouTube channel 'Chao Room,' HUTA revealed that he participated in various events such as running, hurdles, and high jump at the past 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' and won numerous medals. In the video, HUTA mentioned his experience during his first competition, where he won gold medals in running and hurdles and a bronze medal in high jump, earning three medals in a single day. Based on these records, he said the total number of medals he has acquired at the 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' is approximately 30.

However, HUTA confessed that because his athletic talent was so outstanding, there were moments when participating in the competition felt like stress. He shared his feelings at the time, stating that in a situation where maintaining 1st place became the standard, he felt pressured by the thought that his pride would be hurt or that he was getting older if his ranking dropped.

Musical Connection with ZICO Led to Joining Cube Entertainment

HUTA explained the unique connection involved in the process of joining Cube Entertainment. He revealed that he entered university as a musical major but took a leave of absence after one semester to choose the path of an idol trainee. He added that he had applied for a public audition at JYP Entertainment and made it into the final 30, but ultimately did not debut.

The opportunity to connect with Cube Entertainment came through the artist ZICO. According to HUTA's explanation, he formed a connection with ZICO during his middle school years by working on songs through NateOn. Later, ZICO introduced HUTA to an official from SM Entertainment, and this connection led to a proposal from Cube Entertainment two years later, eventually resulting in him joining as a trainee.

Changes During BTOB's Unknown Days and First Impression of Member Hyunsik

HUTA also reminisced about the early days of the group BTOB and their time as unknown artists. He said that immediately after debut, he was full of confidence as a 'professional idol,' but through a long period of being unknown, the members naturally began to relax and show a more friendly side. He explained that this appearance actually became the catalyst for forming a fandom as word spread among fans.

Additionally, he shared memories of when he first met the BTOB members. HUTA said that when he first saw member Hyunsik, he felt Hyunsik's eye smile was very charming, and after seeing him practice, he was certain that his skills were on a different level. At the end of the video, he is shown having a phone call with Hyunsik and conversing in Chinese.
