Singer Yoon Jong Shin has released the new song 'One of Them' through the September 2026 issue of 'Monthly Yoon Jong-shin'. This song contains the heart of cherishing the fluttering emotions toward someone, even if one cannot become a special existence to that person.

Yoon Jong Shin revealed the working process of this song directly through the description box of the released video. This new song was worked on urgently as the work schedule, which was originally planned for the September issue, was changed. The song work was completed under a tight schedule that took about 3 days for the song and less than a week including the music video production.

The clue for the lyric work was words that Yoon Jong Shin usually recorded in his phone memo notes. Yoon Jong Shin explained that the basis of the lyrics was the concern of a junior, shared during drinks a few years ago, that he was merely 'One of Them' to a woman he liked. Yoon Jong Shin melted the advice he gave to the junior, who was anxious at the time because he could not progress the relationship, into the lyrics of this song.

An emotional attitude that shifts the center of the relationship to 'me'

The narrator of the song acknowledges the fact that the other person does not consider them special. It depicts the process of accepting that the other person is always surrounded by people and that the narrator is not the only existence to them. Within the lyrics, an attitude appears that shifts the center of the relationship from the other person ('you') to oneself ('me').
