Yang Yang revealed that he went through deep deliberation starting from the song selection stage for this stage. In the video, Yang Yang said that when he first chose the song, he deliberated between three or four candidates and eventually selected 'RAP TO TOP'. He expressed his ambition to show his thoughts on hip-hop and his various colors through this stage.

In particular, Yang Yang spoke honestly about the difficulties of a solo stage felt during the practice process. Yang Yang mentioned the weight of the process of handling a team song alone, saying, "If it were a song made as a solo song from the beginning, I could just adjust the breathing or the way I breathe to my individual style," but "since this song is our team's song, there are many times when I have to change the different vocal styles of each member by myself whenever the parts change."
