Members of the group AtHeart showcased their individual recipes through a cooking competition.
Members of the group AtHeart showcased their individual recipes through a cooking competition. In the released video, the process of members grocery shopping, preparing ingredients, completing their menus, and judging them is captured.
From ingredient preparation to the cooking process... the members' menu compositions
Prior to the battle, the members decided on each team's menu and prepared the necessary food ingredients. One team purchased beef brisket, eggs, cheddar cheese, and traditional soybean paste to compose their menu. They prepared ingredients to make beef brisket soybean paste stew and cheese rolled omelets, and they even boiled rice themselves, expressing their longing for home-cooked meals.

Another team decided on spicy stir-fried pork and seaweed soup as their menu. They prepared beef and pork shoulder for the seaweed soup, and equipped seasoning ingredients such as red pepper paste and red pepper powder, including pickled radish slices to accompany the spicy stir-fried pork. During the menu preparation process, one member explained the difference in ingredient preparation by mentioning that they increased the proportion of meat due to budget issues.
Additionally, the team that prepared a cold pasta menu showed the process of making a sauce using soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, oligosaccharide, minced garlic, and olive oil, and mixing it with the noodles. During the cooking process, conversations between members regarding the cooking order or the timing of adding ingredients added tension to the battle.
Menu characteristics revealed through judging comments
During the judging process for the completed dishes, specific evaluations followed for each menu. First, regarding the cheese rolled omelet, the evaluation was that the creamy and savory taste of the eggs met the cheese to provide a soft texture, and the appropriately added sugar controlled the sweetness.
For the beef brisket soybean paste stew, there were opinions that the savory taste of the soybean paste, the degree of cooking of the vegetables, and the harmony of seasoning were good. However, regarding the size of the meat, an opinion was also presented that "it would have been better if it were cut into smaller pieces." In the case of the spicy stir-fried pork, contrary to concerns that the meat might become tough by stir-frying it for 30 minutes, the meat was tender, and it received evaluations that the seasoning was well-absorbed and the acidity of the pickled radish neutralized the greasiness.
"We are the White Team" the final result of the battle
After the judging for all dishes was completed, the victory or defeat of the battle was decided. The members in the video confirmed their victory in the battle by declaring that they are the "White Team." After finishing the cooking battle, the members concluded the competition by sharing their thoughts, saying, "Let's go to Culinary Class Wars with the name AtHeart."
