Lasagna is a type of pasta dish made by cutting thinly rolled pasta dough into wide rectangles, boiling the sheets, and then baking them in the oven with béchamel sauce and other ingredients. It is known as a rich, fatty food.

It boasts an extremely high fat content. However, because it contains so many ingredients and the cooking process is easier than expected, it is considered one of the most popular dishes for internet users to try, as the likelihood of failure is very low.

Lasagna is now so widely available that it can even be found as a frozen ready meal. Although it is regarded as an everyday food in the United States, this is because beef is readily available there.

In Italy, it is reportedly considered a special dish that can only be enjoyed at banquets, parties, and similar occasions. Depending on the ingredients used, variations such as eggplant lasagna and dumpling lasagna can be made.

Because lasagna sheets are made from pasta dough, they are high in carbohydrates. The dish is also high in fat because it contains various cheeses and meat, making it one of the foods avoided by people who are dieting.

Here is a recipe for delicious lasagna that you can enjoy at home.

Ingredients: lasagna sheets, tomato sauce, pizza cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter, flour, milk, salt, and ground pepper

Cooking instructions

1. Place the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat.

2. Once the butter has completely melted, gradually add an equal amount of flour in small portions while stirring. After adding all the flour, stir thoroughly to prevent lumps from forming.

3. Add milk to the saucepan, season with salt and pepper, and continue stirring. Do not add the milk all at once; pour it in gradually in small amounts.

4. Line the bottom of an oven-safe dish with lasagna sheets, spread tomato sauce over them, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

5. Add another layer of lasagna sheets and spread the previously prepared béchamel sauce over them. Continue layering the lasagna sheets while alternating between the tomato sauce and béchamel sauce.

6. Finally, sprinkle pizza cheese on top and bake in the oven until the cheese is golden brown.
