How to Make Easy Omurice at Home: What’s the Special Recipe?
Make moist, soft-cooked omurice at home with eggs, cream, bacon, minced vegetables, oyster sauce and golden stir-fried rice.
Omurice can be thought of as a dish made by placing rice inside an omelet. Simply put, its structure is omelet + rice.
One variety known as tornado egg omurice gets its distinctive name from the tornado-shaped egg sheet placed on top. This type of omurice is said to have originated as a staff meal for cooks at a Western-style restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo, that made pork cutlets.

“Live Information” Easy Omurice Recipe
1. Add 1/3 tablespoon of salt and a little heavy cream to 4 eggs, then stir at least 50 times to combine.
2. Place a frying pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
3. Add about 1/3 tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
4. Pour in the beaten eggs. Once the edges turn white and begin to set, stir in one direction.
5. Tidy up the edges of the softly set eggs.
6. Tilt the pan and fold over the portion that needs to cook, forming a half-moon shape.
7. Lightly tap the pan’s handle and use the resulting motion to shape the omelet.
8. Turn it over with a spatula, then transfer it to a plate.
9. Prepare a frying pan, place it over low heat, and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
10. Add bacon, minced carrot, minced onion, and an appropriate amount of salt, then stir-fry for 2 minutes.
11. Add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and 2 bowls of rice, then stir-fry until the rice is golden brown.
12. Firmly pack the rice into a bowl, invert it onto a plate, and place the prepared omelet on top.Once you actually try it, you will find that omurice is not particularly difficult to prepare.
Most people feel a vague sense of reluctance about paying this opportunity cost, and many people living alone will probably head to a restaurant known for its omurice.
But on a sweltering summer day, a plate of omurice made with a few simple groceries from the neighborhood supermarket and enjoyed in front of a cool fan can be an experience like no other.
