The incident occurred in a situation where vehicles were lined up in a long queue to enter the large mart. The participant was waiting at the entrance of the large mart to go grocery shopping with their mother. At the time, to enter the mart, vehicles were lining up by driving around the entrance and stopping at the end of the line to wait.

According to the participant's explanation, while waiting to make a right turn, they attempted to move as the car in front started moving, but a vehicle that had turned left from the opposite intersection stopped in the intersection to attempt to cut into the middle of the line. This vehicle attempted to enter in the middle, skipping the waiting line. When the participant saw the vehicle attempting to cut in without joining the line, they tried to stop them and initiate a conversation, but the other vehicle continued to force its way in recklessly.

In this process, an accident occurred where the vehicle attempting to cut in scratched the participant's stationary vehicle. The participant reported that immediately after the accident, the other driver showed a threatening attitude instead. It was confirmed through the subtitles in the video and the participant's remarks that the repair costs resulting from the accident were approximately 800,000 won for the participant's vehicle and approximately 2.4 million won for the other vehicle.

The other driver's demand for private settlement and the police's judgment result

The situation unfolded even more bewilderingly after the accident. The other driver demanded a private settlement rather than processing it through an insurance company, and subsequently, the participant received a call from the police stating that an accident report had been filed. The participant expressed absurdity at the situation where, despite it being an accident caused by the other party attempting to cut in, the other party demanded a private settlement and reported it to the police.

In particular, the police's judgment result differed from the participant's common sense. The police judged the case as a 'violation of lane change methods' and imposed a fine and a penalty. Furthermore, the participant stated they heard an explanation from the police that "left turns take priority over right turns." The participant emphasized that their vehicle was in a stopped state at the time and argued that such logic is not common sense.
