A recipe for braised pork ribs using sikhye was revealed on the TV Chosun program 'Sallim 9-dan's Manmulsang', gaining popularity online.

The method for making braised pork ribs featured on TV Chosun's variety show 'Sallim 9-dan's Manmulsang' on the 20th has attracted attention. Traditional cuisine researcher Park Hyo-soon, master craftsman in cooking Cho Young-shin, and cultural center star instructor Kim Sun-young appeared on the program to share their expert tips. The braised pork ribs recipe presented on Manmulsang is gaining popularity online alongside Kim Su-mi's recipe from 'Sumi's Kitchen' and Baek Jong-won's recipe, in searches for simple dishes to make at home, lunch menu ideas, side-dish recipes, and home cooking.

1. Place 1.5kg of bite-sized pork ribs in a mixture of 5 cups of water, 3 spoons of doenjang, and 2 cups of makgeolli to remove blood for 20 minutes, then rinse with water.
2. Put 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 10 cloves of garlic, 1 onion, 2 cups of sikhye, 1 piece of ginger, 4 spoons of plum syrup, 1/2 spoon of pepper, and 2 spoons of sugar into a blender and grind.
3. Add 2 spoons of sesame oil to make the seasoning sauce.
4. Pour the seasoning sauce over the drained pork ribs and briefly stir-fry them in a hot pan.
5. Pour the remaining seasoning sauce, cover with a lid, reduce to medium heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Add 5 potatoes, 15 jujubes, 1 carrot, 200g of joraengi-tteok, and 2 green onions, then boil for an additional 14 minutes.
