If you have invited friends or acquaintances to your home, you will likely agonize over the dinner menu. Worrying about complex recipes or the quantity of food can drain your energy even before the guests arrive. Being intimidated in advance only makes the task more difficult.

The first thing to consider is, of course, the menu. Party food should be something that everyone enjoys. Additionally, if any of the guests coming to your home have food allergies, you should avoid those ingredients.

Among various options, Gambas al Ajillo, a dish using shrimp, is easy to make and highly popular. If a guest with a seafood allergy is attending, you can make Aglio e Olio pasta by adding noodles instead of shrimp.

Gambas is perfect for party food because it is simple to cook and easy to utilize in other dishes.

The Spanish dish Gambas contains plenty of garlic, which Koreans love, and you can adjust the amount of garlic depending on the number of guests.

To make Gambas for four people, you will need approximately 500g of shrimp, 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil, 10 tablespoons of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 lemon, 3 teaspoons of chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and fresh baguette bread.

First, pour olive oil into a thick frying pan and heat it over medium heat. Then, add the garlic and chili powder and sauté until the garlic turns brown. Once the garlic is sautéed, turn the heat to high and add the shrimp and lemon juice. You may also add paprika according to your preference. Sauté until the shrimp turns orange and is fully cooked.

Then it is finished. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with baguette bread.

Depending on your preference, you can use shell-on or peeled shrimp. You may also use frozen shrimp, but if you do, rinse them with cold water beforehand and drain them well.

Because it is easy to cook and delicious, once you serve Gambas, there will be almost no leftovers after the guests leave.
