How to peel garlic easily
Peeling garlic is no easy task. Because peeling garlic every time you cook is cumbersome, many people peel a large amount at once, but it is difficult and time-consuming. You can peel garlic easily using a microwave. After cutting off the root end, spread the garlic on a plate and microwave it for about 30 seconds. Place the microwaved garlic in a bowl. Cover it with another bowl of the same size and shake it. This will cause almost all the garlic skins to come off. You only need to peel off the parts that remain.
How to make braised garlic
MBN's 'Altoran' introduced a recipe for braised garlic as a simple homemade side dish. The ingredients for making braised garlic include garlic, dried chili peppers, sliced ginger, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Remove the stems from the garlic and cut them in half. Chop the dried chili peppers into small pieces. Add cooking oil to a heated pan and sauté the garlic. Add the sliced ginger and dried chili peppers and continue sautéing. Once the garlic is golden brown, add water. Add dark soy sauce and reduce the heat to medium. Add cooking wine and corn syrup. Simmer until the liquid has almost disappeared. Once the liquid is nearly gone, add sesame oil. Finish with sesame seeds to complete the braised garlic.
