Today is Friday. Since Saturday is a day off, you can relax and enjoy a beer on Friday night. Recently, more people have come to prefer drinking beer at home, either alone or with family, rather than at a restaurant. An air fryer makes it easy to prepare snacks at home. Here are recipes for three simple beer snacks you can make at home: fried shrimp, menbosha, and french fries.
Air Fryer Recipe – Fried Shrimp
To make air fryer fried shrimp, you will need shrimp, egg, Korean pancake mix, breadcrumbs, and other ingredients. Except for the cooking method, the recipe is the same as for regular fried shrimp. Coat the shrimp first in pancake mix, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs. Place the coated shrimp in the air fryer. Make sure the shrimp do not overlap, as the areas touching each other may not cook through. Set the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and cook for 8 minutes. Turn the shrimp over and cook for another 5 minutes to finish the air fryer fried shrimp.
Air Fryer Recipe – Menbosha
To make air fryer menbosha, you will need sliced bread, shrimp meat, onion, potato starch, egg, sesame oil, sugar, cooking wine, pepper, cooking oil, and other ingredients. Mince the onion. Add cooking wine and pepper to the shrimp meat and marinate for 20 minutes. Drain the seasoned shrimp meat and mince it. Add the minced onion, potato starch, egg white, sesame oil, and sugar to the shrimp, then knead the mixture together. Cut the crusts off the bread and cut each slice into four pieces. Place some shrimp mixture on one piece of bread and cover it with another. Brush the outside of the bread with oil. Set the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and cook for 7 minutes. Turn the menbosha over and cook for another 5 minutes to finish.
Air Fryer Recipe – French Fries
To make air fryer french fries, you will need potatoes, olive oil, parsley, herb salt, and other ingredients. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water, then peel them. Cut the peeled potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Soak them in water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch. Remove the potatoes from the water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Coat them with olive oil, then sprinkle with herb salt and parsley. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and cook for 15 minutes. Turn the potatoes over and cook for another 10 minutes to finish the french fries.
