Hip-Hop Artist Kid Ink: “Dogs Are Family”
Kid Ink and PETA stress that dogs are family and share guidance on walks, food, grooming, toys, comfort, and avoiding outdoor chaining.
American hip-hop artist Kid Ink spoke in an interview with global animal rights organization PETA about his love for dogs and the importance of treating them as members of the family.
Kid Ink, who has two dogs named Louie and Roxie, said, “Dogs are members of the family. They are incredibly emotional and intelligent. We should be responsible and loving guardians to our companion animals.”
He also emphasized, “I understand that dogs want to play, and I spend time outdoors with them. I also always make sure they stay comfortable during hot summers and cold winters. Dogs give us unconditional love, and they deserve the same love in return.”
Meanwhile, PETA, which urges people not to leave dogs chained up alone outside, shared several ways to treat dogs like family.

● Take them for a walk every day—It is a walk for the dogs, not for people, so give them plenty of time to roam, sniff around, and explore.
● Provide fresh food and water every day
● Groom them—Bathe them as often as recommended by a veterinarian, trim their nails, brush their teeth, and more
● Give dogs toys they can enjoy
