Cat towers are helpful for timid cats. By climbing onto a cat tower, a cat can overlook everything in the house from a safe place. They can easily know what is happening around them. Since fearful cats tend to hide in narrow corners such as under beds or behind furniture, a cat tower can be helpful. Also, since they do not share the cat tower with humans, cats can perceive it as their own special place.

You should also consider the cat's appearance and personality. Items attached to the cat tower, such as hammocks or caves, should be of a size suitable for the cat's body. If the cat enjoys playing, attach various toys to the cat tower.
