In the second episode of the survival competition program 'Last Stage: 24H', where directors compete with their names on the line, directors face an extreme mission to prove themselves within 24 hours using 20 cubes.

20 cubes and a 24-hour limit… Survival strategies of the directors

According to the released video, the only condition given in this Last Stage is 'cubes'. The cast members were assigned the task of completing a performance using a total of 20 cubes. In the video, the directors showed tension as they developed different strategies starting from the process of finding cubes hidden inside boxes.

A director relying on experience emphasized that they know the requirements of Last Stage, stating, "In terms of utilizing objects, I think I, as an experienced person, will be the most advantageous." On the other hand, a participant showing a strong will for survival expressed a solemn determination, saying, "I will go with the mindset of saying I will die. If you say you will die, you live, and if you say you will live, you die." Additionally, a specific participant stated, "I wanted to create intense Lee Gi's music. I won't just dance, but I will create a stage that keeps exploding more."

Differences in team composition and weapon preparation… Jun-i's preview of waacking after 5 years

The composition of each team and the prepared weapons also stood in contrast. In the video, the difference in the number of team members is noticeable, showing one team composed of 12 members while another team is composed of a small number of people, with the difference in personnel reaching about twice. Scenes were also captured hinting at the stage concept through costumes and props. Some participants prepared different strategies, such as wearing costumes reminiscent of combat uniforms or wearing sunglasses.

In particular, participant Jun-i revealed that he has chosen waacking, his specialty, as his secret weapon for this stage, saying, "I am doing a waacking performance for the first time in 5 years." According to the video description and the participant's remarks, Jun-i plans to show his hidden weapon by bringing out the waacking genre. Regarding this, another participant expressed anticipation, saying, "Jun-i has a distinct color, and if he brings out the waacking genre, he will be very strong on stage."

Directing and performance implementation under pressure

The 24-hour time limit and the object called cubes acted as a great pressure on the directors. One participant explained their plan to express subtle feelings through a production where cubes are pushed toward them, saying, "I wanted to visually express the burden and pressure of facing the cubes." Additionally, they added the ambition to present a performance where not only dance but also music and directing harmonize through production using lasers and fog.
