Miryang Yeongnamnu Starlight Garden to Provide Nighttime Attractions During Free Pilot Operation Until September 30

The Miryang Cultural Tourism Foundation (Chairman An Byeong-gu, hereinafter the Foundation) announced that it will conduct a pilot operation of "Yeongnamnu Starlight Garden," a new nighttime tourism content in the Yeongnamnu area, until the 30th. During the pilot operation period, it will be operated for free.

Operation of 10 themed spaces using media art and lasers

"Yeongnamnu Starlight Garden" is nighttime tourism content created in the areas of Adongsan Mountain and Mubong Park surrounding Yeongnamnu Pavilion. It is composed to allow people to enjoy the nature and historical-cultural spaces of the Yeongnamnu area even at night by utilizing light, media art, lasers, and interactive content.

The main composition is divided into a total of 10 themed spaces. Each space, including △Hill of Light △Star Yard △Melody of Stars △Waves of Stars △Starlight in the Forest △Cottage in a Fairy Tale △Garden of Light △Forest of Aurora △Eternal Miryang △Tunnel of Light, will showcase various productions using light, video, music, and lasers.

Chuseok holiday operation schedule and October official operation notice

The Foundation plans to operate the Starlight Garden even during the Chuseok holiday period to provide new nighttime attractions to visitors and tourists returning to Miryang. It will operate normally on the 24th and 26th, but will be closed on the 25th, which is Chuseok day.

This pilot operation will proceed for free until the 30th of this month, and official operation will begin from October 1. During official operation, the admission fee is 5,000 won for adults and 3,000 won for teenagers and children. Infants aged 6 and under are free, and a 50% discount applies to Miryang citizens, national merit recipients, persons with disabilities, and multi-child families.

Park Ho-seong, CEO of the Foundation, explained that Yeongnamnu Starlight Garden is nighttime tourism content created so that visitors can experience a different charm from Miryang during the day, and expressed hope that visitors and tourists coming to Miryang for the Chuseok holiday will enjoy the night of Miryang at the Starlight Garden.
