How to Understand Dogs Instinctively

Whether they live in the wild or in a penthouse in the heart of New York City, dogs remain connected to nature. They live in a world where instinct is essential.

The important point is that although we listen to our dogs, we cannot understand what they are saying.

Therefore, as a dog's owner and leader, you must focus your heart and mind on understanding the dog's language.

When you fully engage your instincts, communication with your dog becomes easy and straightforward. Owners should think like a 'dog,' not like a 'person.'

First, observation is necessary. But one important point must be kept in mind: you should not merely watch what your dog does and make guesses. You must approach your dog's behavior without imposing human emotions and thoughts on it.

Give your dog treats, play together and casually observe your pet moving around the house. Note the dog's body language, the objects that attract its interest and those that put it on guard.

Do not try to figure it out, explain it or describe it; it is best simply to observe.

If your dog approaches you and appears to be asking for something, do not speak. Simply focus on that moment as the dog tries to communicate what it wants from you.

If you pay attention, you can quickly understand what your dog wants through its movements and body language.
