"Could my son not be my biological child?" Divorce Camp: Conflict between a couple whose trust was broken by past history
In the JTBC variety program 'Divorce Camp', the conflict of a couple whose trust has collapsed due to various incidents related to past romantic relationships was addressed. A confrontation continued between a husband, who suspects his wife's past actions and even worries about whether their son is his biological child, and a wife, who appeals her sense of unfairness.
Trust broken by past romantic relationships and a motel sighting incident
In the video, the wife explained situations where she was involved with several men before and after meeting her husband. The wife mentioned relationships with men she met while working at a karaoke counter before meeting her husband. Circumstances were revealed, such as a man gifting her an expensive padded jacket at the time, or her having a 'fling' with another man during the period she was meeting her husband.

In particular, the husband expressed strong distrust by mentioning an incident where he witnessed through a black box camera the wife parking a car in front of a motel with another man in the past. The wife explained the situation at the time, saying, "I didn't go inside the motel, but went near the lobby to say hello and then came out," but the husband appealed that his trust was broken due to the repetition of past events, including that incident.
Continued romantic issues even during full-term pregnancy and repeated conflict
The couple's conflict continued even during the period when the wife was pregnant. The wife mentioned meeting an acquaintance she knew in the past to eat a meal around her 5th or 6th month of pregnancy. She explained the situation at the time, stating that the acquaintance had helped her secure a place to live, but the husband reacted that it was difficult to accept the fact that she met another man while pregnant.
The husband raised an issue regarding the repetition of these actions by the wife, asking, "Aren't you just trying to escape the crisis?" The wife expressed that she had gone through a psychologically difficult time due to the husband's continuous suspicion and harsh words.
"Could my son not be my biological child?" Husband's suspicion and DNA test debate
The most dramatic conflict appeared in the suspicion regarding the son's paternity. Based on the wife's past history, the husband expressed anxiety that the son might not be his biological child. The wife emphasized that the baby looked very much like the husband when he was born, and expressed her feelings that if he were not his biological child, she felt she would not be able to handle it.
In response, the husband suggested a test, saying, "If you are that scared, can't we just do a DNA test?" However, the wife expressed fear about proceeding with the test, saying, "If it really turns out he isn't, how are the people who have to live their lives going to live while carrying that shock?" While confirming that the son's appearance resembles the husband, the couple showed difficulty in resolving the distrust formed by past incidents.
