HUI gifts 5 types of self-drawn talismans... "Containing passing, health, and luck"

Singer HUI shared Chuseok greetings by gifting handmade talismans he personally created for his fans.

HUI released a 2026 Chuseok greeting video for the fandom 'UNIVERSE' through his official YouTube channel. In the video, HUI mentioned that he would be continuing his work even during the holiday period due to overseas schedules, and expressed his desire for fans to make wishes and achieve their dreams.

5 types of 'HUI-style talismans' containing passing, health, luck, wishes, and wealth

To support the wishes of his fans, HUI personally drew and presented five types of talismans with different themes. In the video, HUI introduced the meaning of each talisman along with the characters he drew himself.

The first is the 'passing' talisman. HUI drew a rabbit that runs well and jumps high as the character. The following 'health' talisman features a bear, conveying the meaning that one must sleep well. The third 'luck' talisman uses a green frog as a symbol. The fourth 'wish fulfillment' talisman features a cat that goes well with the night, based on a yellow background, and the final fifth one is the 'wealth (winning)' talisman. HUI chose orange as the color symbolizing wealth and completed the talisman using 50,000 won bills and a pig.

"It is important to utilize tension"... Thoughts on passing

In the process of making the talismans, HUI recalled that the word 'passing' is a word that has followed him from his childhood until now. Regarding passing, he mentioned, "It is important to utilize tension," noting that an appropriate amount of tension that makes one feel they can perform better than usual, along with an attitude of giving one's all, is necessary.

Furthermore, regarding luck, he emphasized an attitude of preparing with all one's heart rather than being too nervous, saying, "There are moments that suit you and fit you well. Those are the moments that approach like fate."

PENTAGON tour and wishing for members' health

Regarding the ongoing PENTAGON tour, HUI cited the members' health as his top priority wish. He stated, "My first wish is for the members to finish the tour without getting sick or injured and without any major problems." He also added that he hopes the members, who will be handling busy schedules until the end of the year, can make plenty of time to be together and that they will not feel fatigued or physically ill in the process.

Meanwhile, HUI announced in the video that he plans to deliver lucky pouches containing the talismans he made and his own photos to the fans. The Chuseok well-wishing event related to the video will be held from September 24 to September 27, 2026, via X (formerly Twitter).
