The group 82MAJOR has revealed the behind-the-scenes story of their intense deliberations to increase the perfection of their new song 'Like Fire' during the recording process. The released recording behind-the-scenes video captures the process of the members finding the song's color by adjusting the nuance, breathing, and pitch of each part.

"The chorus took 1 hour 40 minutes"... 'Like Fire' demands high-difficulty vocal skills

The section that took the most time during this recording process was the chorus part. In the video, it is confirmed that while the pre-chorus took about 10 to 15 minutes, the chorus took 1 hour and 40 minutes. To bring out the atmosphere of the song, the members focused on their work following the directing that "you have to use a lot of breath because it needs to be sexy."

During the recording, member Do-yun expressed the difficulty of the parts that must be consciously controlled, saying, "When I use breath to make it sound weak, the pitch doesn't land exactly right." Additionally, during the process of recording the falsetto version, they were shown repeatedly practicing to produce a bright falsetto after receiving feedback that "the falsetto tends to be a bit husky."

"My tongue won't move"... Technical challenges between pronunciation and rhythm

In certain sections of the song, difficulties caused by pronunciation and rhythm issues were also revealed. The video captures them struggling with lyric sections such as 'sumgil suga eomneun' (cannot hide). The members expressed the difficulty of the section by mentioning, "My tongue won't move," and focused on adjusting the emphasis of the lyrics "sumgil suga eomneun."

Particularly in the rap part, a confession followed: "I know the feeling of just hitting it hard like when I usually rap, but I can't catch the pitch," depicting the process of trying to capture both the rhythm and the pitch of the song. In the recording studio, detailed directing continued, such as treating certain pronunciations as a 'fry' or relaxing the voice to bring out a 'ghost' feeling.

The killing points and charm of the song chosen by the members

After finishing the recording, the members revealed the charm and killing points of the song as they perceived them. Member SEOKJON picked the 'Round to complete' section as his own killing point, emphasizing the coolness of that part. Furthermore, he expressed expectations that fans will feel a new charm because this song is similar to the image they have previously shown, yet has a different texture.

The members also mentioned the addictiveness of the song. In the video, they explained the characteristic of the song that keeps coming to mind once heard, saying, "Now, na na na, I keep thinking of this in my head."
