The group KEYVITUP shared their thoughts on the tension and unexpected situations on stage experienced while preparing for the 'KCON LA 2026' stage held in LA, United States. The released video contains scenes from the rehearsal site to the moments right before the main stage, and interviews after finishing the performance.

Unexpected Situations During Rehearsal and Condition Management

While conducting the KCON LA 2026 rehearsal, the members of KEYVITUP discussed stage movement and their physical condition. The members stated they consulted with each other to attempt a formation where all members move freely and communicate with the audience starting from the second verse chorus. During the rehearsal process, one of the members mentioned worrying about her throat condition due to cold symptoms and was saving her voice for the stage.

Additionally, they shared regrets regarding parts where the choreography, pitch, and tempo of a specific song did not match during the rehearsal. The members cited technical difficulties, noting that because the stage floor material was a rubber style, friction with the shoe soles made turn movements not smooth. One member said that if they dance with more power than during practice, the breathing with the song could break, so it is important to adjust the intensity of power so as not to interfere with the live performance.

Unexpected Accidents on the KCON LA Stage and Members' Reactions

On the main stage, an unexpected situation occurred, causing the members to express regret. During the 'MANIAC' stage, member KIA's doll prop fell. According to the conversation in the video, because the doll fell to the floor in a state where it was not completely closed, the members appeared somewhat distracted in the beginning as they were concerned about it. In particular, one member mentioned the moment as the youngest member who burst into tears after coming off the stage in relation to the situation where the doll was not properly closed.

However, even amidst these unexpected situations, the performance continued. The video confirms that there were no problems with KIA's stage when she held the doll.

A Stage That Repaid the Heat of Local Fans

After finishing the performance, KEYVITUP expressed gratitude for the intense heat at the KCON LA site. The members conveyed that even though there were many fans they were seeing for the first time, the audience gave more than 80% of their energy, and thanks to that, they gained more than 120% of their energy and could enjoy the stage at 200%.

The members also expressed satisfaction with the food they ate locally. They shared their thoughts that the galbi, cereal, and cookies they ate in the United States were delicious, expressing happiness regarding their local activities. Finally, the members mentioned the importance of condition management and showed their determination to work even harder for the next stage.
