How to Draw Your Eyebrows Properly
Learn how to mark the start, arch, and end of each eyebrow, choose the right color, and create a precise, balanced shape.
But before using this makeup tool, let’s first learn how to draw eyebrows well on your own.
A makeup artist advised choosing an eyebrow color that matches the darkest part of your hair. This makes the eyebrows look thicker and fuller.
To draw the eyebrows in the right shape, first create an outline and mark the key points. Begin by holding an eyebrow pencil vertically alongside your nose. Align the tip of the pencil with the inner corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should begin. It helps to mark the starting point with the eyebrow pencil.
To determine where the arch should be, position the eyebrow pencil at the outermost edge of your nose and line it up with the center of your iris. Use the pencil to mark where the arch should be drawn.
Hold the pencil diagonally from the outermost edge of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. Where the pencil points is where your eyebrow should end. Mark this point with the pencil as well.
Pluck and tidy the eyebrows according to the marked points, then fill them in with an eyebrow pencil to create a precise, neat shape.
