Saetbyeol, a Beagle rescued from a dog farm just before slaughter, has been waiting for a new family for three years. According to the Dog Us Planet video, Saetbyeol was rescued from a dog farm in Jindo. At the time, the site was known to be a breeding facility, but it was actually a dog farm for meat. Saetbyeol was waiting to be rescued while holding her puppies inside a floating cage, such as a milk box or a basket, designed so the puppies would not fall out.

At the time of rescue, Saetbyeol's front leg was amputated above the joint. The video stated that it is presumed Saetbyeol's front leg was damaged after getting caught in a trap. At that time, many veterinarians recommended surgery to amputate up to the shoulder area for physical balance. This is because amputating up to the shoulder allows the remaining legs to move toward the center to find balance, making it easier to adapt to living with four legs. However, the participant in the video expressed the agony regarding the surgery, saying, "I still wonder if it is human attachment or truly for her," while mentioning that Saetbyeol is currently wearing a brace (walker) and is adapting very quickly on her own.

Immediately after rescue, Saetbyeol was in a state of extreme wariness, avoiding people or biting if anyone tried to touch her. Due to her physical handicap and the situation where she had to protect her puppies, she was considered one of the most difficult cases among the rescued children among medical staff.

However, three years later, Saetbyeol has become a completely different person. Through continuous socialization training, she has become able to interact with humans to the extent that she can perform 'calling,' running to a person when called. The video shows Saetbyeol accepting human touch and acting affectionately, explaining that she is in a state where she can mingle with other dogs without any problems.
