HAchubby laments US medical system delays, saying "It would be finished in 1–2 days if I went to South Korea"

Creator HAchubby shared the difficulties she experienced with the slow local medical services and appointment systems in the United States.

Through a recent live broadcast, HAchubby shared her experience using medical services in the United States. In the video, HAchubby stated that she was informed by an imaging scanning center that the earliest available appointment date is three weeks away. She also mentioned that because two types of verification are required for the examination, it would cost approximately 500 dollars.

Three-week wait for examination appointments and high costs

In the video, HAchubby explained the situation where she was contacted by the imaging scanning center. She expressed bewilderment at the fact that she has to wait three weeks, as the earliest available date is October 14. Furthermore, she spoke about the issues of the waiting period for appointments and the cost, mentioning that two types of examinations are necessary and will cost 500 dollars.

Commenting on the local medical environment, HAchubby said she witnessed hospital lobbies filled with people. She raised questions about accessibility to medical services, noting that the lobby was crowded with people even though it was 9:00 AM on a weekday.

Regarding the slow medical procedures in the United States, HAchubby expressed her difficulties by comparing them to the medical system in South Korea. She expressed surprise at the fact that in the United States, one might have to wait more than a month to see a doctor directly, contrasting this with the situation in South Korea where one can receive treatment immediately at places like dermatology clinics upon paying the fee.

In particular, she expressed frustration with a system where one must wait even before an appointment is confirmed, mentioning that it takes 2 to 4 days just to receive a reply after sending a message to a doctor. Making a joke, HAchubby remarked, "If you become a doctor in the United States, you could build a building," while mentioning the reality of having to go through acquaintances or complex procedures (referrals) to meet a specialist.

HAchubby also considered visiting South Korea as a way to resolve her current situation. She said that if she returns to South Korea, she could resolve everything within 1–2 days and the cost would be cheaper, but she added that the high price of plane tickets is a concern. Meanwhile, she mentioned that she is also considering methods such as purchasing medicine at a pharmacy first, citing advice from her mother who was a nurse.
