Fortunately, the meerkats were able to be brought back with the help of a local resident.

To release overflowing energy, Kim Du-ri undergoes daily walks. Whenever the weather is good, the caretaker helps the meerkats consume energy through walks, and as this process repeats, an environment like a 'walking ranch' is created. The caretaker stated that they live with Kim Du-ri not to soothe loneliness, but so that they can be a source of strength to each other and a driving force for living.
