According to a video from the YouTube channel 'Travel Country', 10 nationwide autumn destinations that you shouldn't miss this fall have been introduced.

Munhui Farm in Mungyeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, boasts a vast aster field covering approximately 60,000 square meters. The purple aster colonies spreading along the gentle mountain foothills begin to bloom in September, reaching their peak from late September to early October. Walking paths with palm mats are laid between the flower paths, making it great for walking while enjoying the flowers up close. Above the main flower field, there is a small pond, and purple hydrangeas and various chrysanthemums bloom together, adding to the autumn atmosphere.

If you want to see the spectacular sight of red spider lilies, Seonunsa Temple in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do, and Sangnim Park in Hamyang, Gyeongsangnam-do, are recommended. At Seonunsa Temple, the Seonunsan Mountain area turns red every September, reaching its peak around mid to late September. The combination of the Daeungjeon Hall, which holds 1,500 years of history, and the tranquil temple scenery makes it a great place to take life-changing photos. Large ponds and various photo zones are also provided.

In Sangnim Park in Hamyang, red spider lilies bloom under lush old trees, creating an intense contrast with the green forest. In addition to the spider lily, various autumn flowers such as yellow cosmos and purple erigeron bloom here, presenting a landscape like a small festival grounds. It is optimal for feeling deep and quiet beauty while slowly walking through the forest path colored red by the spider lilies.

Places where you can encounter exotic landscapes and large-scale flower fields

Herb Island in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, is a theme park where Mediterranean-style buildings blend with the scent of herbs. In particular, 'Sky Herb Farm' in the healing zone features pink pine trees and pink sand dunes, making it a popular spot for SNS photography, and after sunset, pink lighting adds to the atmosphere. The Pocheon Hantangang Garden Festa is a place where you can enjoy the columnar joint canyons of the Hantangang River along with the 410m long I-shaped Suspension Bridge. The Jaraseom Flower Festa in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do, is held from September 12 to October 5, where you can encounter zinnias, Siberian chrysanthemums, and pink muhly along with the scenery of the Bukhangang River. With themed walking courses and autumn flower gardens established, it is a good place to leave special memories while walking through the flower fields.

Farm Garden in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do, is a place filled with over 100,000 pink muhly plants across 66,000 square meters, and the 'Flower Guest Project' is held from September 18 to November 8. The terraced pink muhly colonies offer an exquisite view when looking down from above, and you can also explore pampas grass and cockscomb colonies.

Autumn travel destinations with free admission and various experiences

Patriotic Righteous Army Forest Waterfront Park in Uiryeong, Gyeongsangnam-do, is located at the confluence of the Nakdonggang River and the Namgang River, and parking and admission are free. From mid-September to late October, you can see various flowers such as pink muhly, cosmos, aster, and chrysanthemum, and the red-colored euonymus colonies are a representative sight. It is easy to visit without burden due to its good accessibility.

Oxygen Café Garden in Cheongsong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is a garden of about 40,000 pyeong in size, where zinnias reach their peak from mid-September. The zinnia zone can be viewed for free until November, and you can view the flower fields and the mountain scenery of Cheongsong at a glance from the 13m high Owl Observatory. Photo zones, benches, and shaded areas are provided throughout, making it convenient to take a rest.

Gasan Supia in Chilgok, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is the largest private garden in the country, spanning 860,000 pyeong. From late September, the pink muhly takes on a vivid pink color, and you can also encounter Siberian chrysanthemums and gaura. It is suitable for family travelers as it features abundant things to do for children, such as red clay walking paths for barefoot walking, an alpaca experience center, and Dinosaur Land.
