DAY6 DOWOON experiences Tesla FSD firsthand, calling it a "T-type personality that cannot fathom human feelings"

Singer DOWOON shared the driving characteristics he felt while personally experiencing Tesla's autonomous driving feature, FSD (Full Self-Driving). DOWOON attempted to drive by activating the FSD feature while traveling to Baegun Lake in a borrowed Tesla Model X.

In the video, DOWOON mentioned the driving performance and ride quality of FSD. He noted that the way FSD drives is very smooth, expressing satisfaction with the system's smooth braking and driving to the point of saying, "If I were driving, I think the ride quality wouldn't be very good." In particular, he added, "The ride quality of FSD is so good that I think I will keep using only this feature."

However, he offered a unique interpretation regarding the personality of the autonomous driving system. DOWOON expressed that the way the system coordinates relationships with other vehicles on the road "cannot fathom human feelings." He mentioned that in situations where other vehicles attempt to cut in or where yielding is necessary, the system judges somewhat mechanically (like a 'T' personality) and simply passes by, explaining, "In driving, you have to yield, but this friend feels like they absolutely must pass through."

Confirming autonomous driving technology through direct control

During the drive, DOWOON also intervened directly while watching the process of the system recognizing and responding to road conditions. In the video, DOWOON confirmed the system recognizing and avoiding obstacles in situations such as narrow lanes or when a truck appears in the opposite direction. He explained the process of driving while monitoring the system, saying, "It feels like you have to be a director to some extent."

Additionally, DOWOON expressed his opinions regarding the price range and technical aspects of the Tesla Model X. He mentioned that the vehicle's price is high and hinted that he would be willing to use it if similar technology is applied to cheaper models in the future. After finishing the drive, DOWOON left a positive evaluation of the overall driving experience, saying, "I didn't expect anything at all, but it is excellent enough that this level of anxiety is bearable."
