In a special video of the JTBC entertainment program 'Han Moonchul's Dashcam Review' (hereinafter Han Moonchul's Dashcam Review), the footage captures various animals encountered on the road, along with a story of rescuing a puppy that was in danger on a highway and welcoming it into a family.

From geese that follow signals to horses that scratch cars, animals on the road

In the released video, unexpected animals met on the road were introduced through dashcam footage. When a goose family waiting for a signal at a crosswalk was captured, the cast members expressed surprise at the animals following the signals, saying, "Geese follow orders because they are trained, but humans are the only ones who don't listen."

In the following video, a horse appeared, brushing past a car and leaving marks on the vehicle body. The scene confirmed that as the car brushed past the horse's movement, marks resembling horseshoe prints were left. The cast discussed the situation of having to find the owner of the horse that caused the accident, and talked about civil procedures such as processing through one's own car insurance and the insurance company claiming compensation from the owner if the owner cannot be found.

Additionally, various sudden behaviors of animals occurring on the road were conveyed through dashcam footage, such as a clever crow snatching away fish and a cat couple engaging in affection on top of a car hood.

A puppy in crisis on the highway, the reason for deciding to rescue

In the latter half of the video, a tense situation was depicted where a puppy running dangerously on the highway was rescued. While driving on the highway, the cast members discovered a puppy near a vehicle, recognized the dangerous situation, and decided to rescue it. At the time, the road width for vehicles to pass was narrow, posing a risk of an accident during the rescue process, but the cast members decided to make a U-turn and return to the scene, judging that the puppy's life could be in danger if left alone.

During the rescue process, the cast members approached cautiously, such as letting the puppy sniff them so that it could lower its guard. Although the puppy seemed to avoid them at first, it gradually realized there was no hostility and was held in their arms obediently, allowing the rescue to be completed safely. At the time, the rescued puppy had a collar, but the leash was missing.

Into the arms of a family instead of an abandoned dog shelter, 'Somaek's' happy ending

The rescued puppy was sent to an abandoned dog shelter, but it was in a situation where there was a risk of euthanasia if it could not return to its owner. To resolve this unfortunate situation, the cast members requested help through 'Han Moonchul's Dashcam Review'.

Ultimately, it was decided that 'Manager Chu' from the production team would adopt the puppy, leading to a dramatic happy ending. The puppy's name was named 'Somaek', inspired by the mixture of Soju and beer, based on its yellowish-brown fur color. The cast members later shared photos of the puppy living healthily with its new family, expressing their wish that "we hope Somaek lives happily in the future."
