How to develop latent artistic potential
Simple ways to unlock artistic potential, such as using old supplies, experimenting with new techniques, and learning from various artists.
[Fam Times Reporter Jennylyn Gianan] Some people believe they have artistic talents that need to be developed.
Therefore, they take online courses or expensive art classes. However, there is a simple way to easily draw out one's artistic potential.
First, try taking old art supplies out of the closet. Paints bought for a previous art class may still be there after being used only a few times.
Try a new way of using paint, dipping a thin brush into it as though it were ink. You can recall the joyful memories of opening a coloring book when your parents bought you a 64-color crayon set or colored pens when you were a child.
Why not go back to those times and try again? Regardless of age, art is enjoyable. You can double the fun by inviting someone who shares your artistic passion.
Working with that person allows you to learn new things from each other. While using old art supplies is not bad, buying new ones is also good.
You can buy the materials you have wanted and try art experiments using art sand or glitter. You should learn not only from deceased artists like Da Vinci and Picasso but also from living artists.
Examine how artists created their works and try mixing your own methods with their techniques.
